Delete Your Account
You can delete your Velka account and its data at any time. This page explains how, both in-app and by request if you no longer have access to the app.
In-app deletion
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside Velka Coach or the Velka client app — the steps are identical in both apps:
- Open Profile.
- Go to the Account section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm that it is you. If your account has a password, enter it and tap Delete my account. If you sign in with Google or Apple, tap the matching button instead and approve the request with that provider.
If your account has no password and no Google or Apple sign-in that works on your device, the sheet offers Send password setup email. Open the link in that email to set a password, which signs you out on every device, then repeat the steps above.
Your account and its data are deleted immediately — this action cannot be undone.
Request by email
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by email instead. Write to privacy@velka.fit from the email address registered on your account. We will verify your identity before processing the request — for example, by confirming details tied to the account.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your profile and account details
- Your training plans and sessions
- Your check-ins and check-in photos
- Your messages and Kilo chat history
- Any documents you uploaded
What is retained and why
A small amount of data survives account deletion, for security and legal reasons. Any data that remains is kept only for as long as needed to meet legal obligations, such as accounting, and security audit logs are retained for security purposes. See the Retention section of our Privacy Policy for details.
Store subscriptions
Deleting your Velka account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel a subscription directly in the store: on iOS, open Settings, tap your Apple Account, then Subscriptions; on Android, open the Play Store app, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
